  With the support of the Indonesia Control of Corruption Project, the Indonesian government is using branding to help consumers easily identify legal money changers. Tourists can now spot registered money changers by an official logo, which is affixed to signage, informational leaflets, stickers, and T-shirts.

  The Zambia Threshold Project has worked with the government and civil society to streamline the processes to register a business, to obtain land titles and work permits, and to import and export. As a result, opportunities for corruption have been limited and the cost of doing business in Zambia has dropped.

  A modern children’s playground is replacing the ugly garages and old, dirty trash containers that used to fill a large yard across from the Zugdidi Railway Station. The new playground is just one result of new regulations in Georgia that have begun to spur growth.
   
Customs reforms heat up construction sector in Georgia
  The Business Climate Reform Project provided technical assistance in streamlining border clearance procedures, which it estimates will save businesses about $91 million annually. The World Bank reports customs reforms have reduced the time to import from more than 50 days in 2005 to 15 in 2006.

  The center is a “one-stop shop” for investors, providing comprehensive information about how to do business in Georgia. It also fields questions on investment opportunities, privatization, tax and customs, licensing and permitting, and property issues.
   
Online registry reduces bureaucratic burden for businesses
  All Georgian taxpayers now can access their account information online, download all necessary tax declarations from the Revenue Service Web portal, and soon be able to file tax declarations for VAT online. These improvements to the system are saving businesses time — and money.
